  6. VB Icon Extractor copies icons that are embedded in Windows .EXE and
  7. .DLL files as standard .ICO icon files to the directory you specify.

  12. An example usage of this software is to extract the icons from the
  13. Windows 3.1 MORICONS.DLL (106 icons) and other files, then use Valley
  14. Programming's VB Icon Browser program to view and produce a printed
  15. catalog of all of the extracted icons.  Another example usage of this
  16. program is to extract the desktop icon of a Windows program such as
  17. Write, then use any icon editor to customize the extracted icon, then
  18. replace the original program's desktop icon with the customized icon.
