- Welcome to Pegasus Mail version 2.0a!
-
- Pegasus Mail is a mail program exclusively for use with Novell NetWare
- (versions 2.15A and later): it is a fully-fledged mailer, and one of
- its more unusual characteristics is that it is free.
-
- I keep Pmail free for a whole variety of reasons, with which I won't
- bore you here. Nonetheless, my expenses are quite real; so as a com-
- promise between my principles and my bank manager, I am selling printed
- manuals for Pegasus Mail. I don't think that omitting a manual has any
- real impact on Pmail - it's easy to use, and has extensive online help.
-
- Selling manuals does, however, give those who wish to encourage the
- ongoing development of Pegasus Mail a chance to do so, and to get a
- tangible return in the process. You are NOT obliged to purchase a
- manual in any way: if you do though, you are making a positive and much
- appreciated contribution to the development of the system.
-
- Manuals for Pegasus Mail can be purchased as follows:
-
- Option 1: One manual, with a right to make up to five
- copies for internal use . . . . . . . . . . . . US$100
-
- Option 2: One manual, with a right to make unlimited
- copies for internal use at one site . . . . . . US$250
-
- Both options include first-class airmail delivery anywhere in the
- world. "One site" is taken to mean the extent of an organization
- within any one city.
-
- Purchase orders are welcome from any educational institution, or any
- company with a paid-up capital of more than $30,000: please send the
- purchase order with the order form, addressed as below.
-
- To order printed manuals for Pegasus Mail, please print and complete
- the order form in this distribution (ORDER.FRM), and return it with
- your cheque or PO to:
-
- Pegasus Mail, c/- David Harris,
- P.O. Box 5451,
- Dunedin, New Zealand.
-
- (This address will be good until at least 1994)
-
-
- I hope you enjoy using Pegasus Mail - it has a significant slice of
- my life in it, and I get my real reward from knowing that people like
- to use it.
