  7. QUESTION:      We have a customer who says that Telebit (a modem
  8.                manufacturer) told him that Novell now has available version
  9.                v1.2 of our IBM ASYNCH (COM1/COM2) drivers that support
  10.                speeds of 9600 baud.  The only ones we find is the old v1.00
  11.                that have been around forever.  Does anyone know anything
  12.                about a v1.2 or any ASYNCH drivers besides the v1.00?

  14. ANSWER:        In reference to the question on version 1.2 of the
  15.                Asynchronous Remote Bridge drivers:
  16.  
  17.                They have been available to customers but only if they were
  18.                sent by a technician (at CPD).  As of today, these drivers
  19.                are now available through the UPDATE1 group.  However,
  20.                COM1/COM2 will not support 9600 baud even with these new
  21.                drivers.  In a future release we will be able to handle 9600
  22.                (and maybe greater) baud, but for now COM1/COM2 is still
  23.                limited to 2400.

  25.                The v1.2 WNIM drivers (using a WNIM+ card) will run at 9600
  26.                baud using leased lines only.
