  6. PROBLEM:       The 3C501 Boot PROM v1.1a from LANworks with NetWare 386 
  7.                v3.1 was making the attachment to the file server, but 
  8.                would not read the boot image file.  LANworks suggested 
  9.                creating a dummy BOOTCONF.SYS file.  The customer then
  10.                received RX2 errors on the remote workstation when trying
  11.                to boot.  The RX2 error is caused by a quick reply from 
  12.                the file server.  The workstation cannot handle it and the
  13.                3C501 misses or loses it.

  15. SOLUTION:      LANworks v1.2a of PROM works better with quick replies 
  16.                that are sent from NetWare 386 v3.1.
