  7. QUESTION:      Will other SCSI drives work with the new IBM SCSI 
  8.                machines and controllers?

  10. ANSWER:        Yes, some will.  However, they are not officially 
  11.                supported that way because IBM itself will not support 
  12.                3rd party disk drives in their machines.  One of my 
  13.                customers has verified that the Micropolis 1588 SCSI
  14.                COMPSURF and is running fine in a Model 80.  This was 
  15.                under NetWare 386 v3.0 and not verified with the NetWare 
  16.                286 driver.
