  9. INFORMATION:   On page 123 of the "Concepts" manual that shipped with 
  10.                NetWare 386 v3.0, the second paragraph refers to a "time 
  11.                limit" that can be set by the system manager.  This time 
  12.                limit is supposed to be how long a server will allow a 
  13.                workstation to sit idle on a network before it clears it's 
  14.                connection.  In past versions of NetWare, the watchdog (this 
  15.                is what this service of the file server checking a 
  16.                workstation's connection for activity is called) has been 
  17.                hard coded.

  19.                As you can see from the manual,  the ability to set a 
  20.                variable watch dog was to be included with 386.  However, 
  21.                because of time restraints, this feature was omitted from 
  22.                v3.0 and will subsequently be omitted from v3.1 for the 
  23.                same reason.  It was an oversight on Novell's behalf that 
  24.                the information was not removed from documentation.
