  9. INFORMATION:   A customer was using NEC MSDOS v3.30.  All of his
  10. workstations set local paths.  The login script correctly set search drives
  11. so they wouldn't overwrite the local paths.  All the stations but one had
  12. the paths overwritten. We found out that the NEC MSDOS is a hybrid version
  13. of DOS.

  15.                The workstation that didn't have its environment overwritten
  16. had "path" in the config.sys.  The others had "set path." When these
  17. workstations had the path statement changed to "path" in the config.sys,
  18. there were no problems.  Also, this NEC DOS has no hard drive partition
  19. limitation.
