  6. OVERVIEW:      Two MENU.EXE programs are currently being shipped with
  7. NetWare.  This information is offered to help users determine which version
  8. will meet their particular needs.  If problems with older versions of
  9. MENU.EXE are encountered, upgrade to one of these two currently shipping
  10. versions. Listed below is a synopsis of the features and limitations of
  11. each.*

  17.                -   Releases memory successfully
  18.                -  Creates search mappings successfully (both when made by
  19. menu and a batch file called by menu)
  20.                -  DOES NOT make use of the !Logout command regardless of
  21. whether the menu was called from a batch file or not
  22.                -   DOES NOT work correctly when called from a batch file
  23.

  29.                -   Creates search mappings made by menu successfully

  34.                -   When called from batch file, 286 NetWare reports
  35.                    "Batchfile missing," 386 NetWare reports "Access
  36.                    Denied-X:\Path\filename"

  39. provide the functionality desired by all users.
  40.                   Certain features are mutually exclusive and cannot be
  41. provided in the same version.

  43. systems.

  45.                    When the batch file is closed, the search mappings are
  46. available for that process.
