  13. Symptom:      When both the print AND file services are installed, the 
  14.               APS and AQS VAPs report an inability to open/read the 
  15.               settings files ->128.  Error 128 is a "file in use error" 
  16.               so on the surface it looks as though the print service VAPs 
  17.               are competing for the use of the settings file.  However, 
  18.               the file services work fine, as do the print services if 
  19.               each is loaded in the absence of the other.

  21. Problem:      The SMC 2.13 TURBO driver allows the user to select the 
  22.               packet size to be used.  There are four options ranging 
  23.               from a .5KB packet size to a 4KB packet size.  When the 
  24.               .5KB packet size is used, this printing failure occurs.

  26. Solution or 
  27. Work-around:  When the 4KB packet size was used, both the file AND print 
  28.               services worked concurrently in the same bridge machine.

  30.               The two other packet sizes were not tested.  Also this may 
  31.               be applicable to other Arcnet drivers which provide 
  32.               configurable packet sizes.
