  6. GENERAL
  7. INFORMATION:   WordPerfect has the capability of printing directly to a
  8.                print queue so the user does not have to issue a CAPTURE
  9.                command before entering WordPerfect.  It is also possible to
  10.                change queues without leaving WordPerfect.  The trick is to
  11.                go into the WordPerfect printer setup and edit a printer.
  12.                Instead of setting the port to LPT 1, set it to the File
  13.                Server Name/Queue Name.  We tried to just set it to the
  14.                queue name and WordPerfect returned the error code "Network
  15.                not accepting print jobs".  By specifying the file server,
  16.                we could printed just fine.

  18. COMMENTS:      Be aware that some users have reported problems when
  19.                capturing from WordPerfect under NetWare 386.  NetWare 386
  20.                has all the v2.0 API printing calls stripped out of it.  It
  21.                has been reported that WordPerfect, in the past releases,
  22.                had problems caused by the fact that WordPerfect uses some
  23.                "old" print API calls and that they redirect the DOS error
  24.                handler to their own.  We haven't confirmed if their latest
  25.                version (5.1) has been fixed or not.
