-
- PROBLEM: With a NetWare 286 v2.15a system, PC DOS 3.30, XCOPY, NCOPY,
- and DOS COPY all failed when trying to copy more than 60 MB
- from a local drive to a network drive. PCOPY.EXE (written
- by Norm Patriquin) worked. The customer tried UCOPY and the
- FXCOPY patch to XCOPY. They worked for other customers, but
- not for this customer.
-
- The same customer had three file servers interneted, running
- NetWare 286 v2.15. When a user (anyone) logs out, a banner
- page with that user's name prints out followed by 1-5 pages
- of ASCII characters. They always print on the same printer
- only on one file server. This file server currently has NO
- applications loaded and they are not capturing at the work
- station!
-
- SOLUTION: Both of the problems above were caused by the Jerusalem B
- virus.
-
- COMMENTS: McAfee Associates has a document regarding this virus.
