  6. PROBLEM:       When using RPRINTER a sentence like "Scott went to     
  7.                school" the customer would get "went school to Scott."  It
  8.                would scramble entire words and not just characters.  They
  9.                had five ALR 25/386 DT machines and RPRINTER had the problem
  10.                on all of them.

  12. SOLUTION:      The customer added a second card (didn't get the brand name)
  13.                to the machine and told it to be LPT2 using INT 5 to make
  14.                sure it would not conflict with the LPT on the controller
  15.                and the RPRINTER problems went away.

  17. COMMENTS:      Interrupt conflicts and possible compatibility problems with
  18.                the port in the machine cause a lot of the problems.  This
  19.                machine has a parallel and serial port on the floppy
  20.                controller.  DOS uses polling and RPRINTER uses interrupts.
  21.                A lot of manufacturers do not use interrupts on their ports
  22.                which can cause a lot of problems with printing.  (Remote
  23.                printing has to have hard interrupts on the port.)
