- Subject: Replacing Access Server LOGIN
- Date: December 18, 1990
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
-
- PROBLEM: Documentation for the Access Server tells users to replace
- their NetWare LOGIN.EXE file with the one provided with the
- Access Server. When a customer running NetWare 386 does
- this, they will not be able to login to their 386 file
- server.
-
- SOLUTION: This documentation is outdated and should be ignored when
- running the Access Server with NetWare 386. In truth, the
- LOGIN.EXE supplied with the Access Server should be replaced
- by the LOGIN.EXE from NetWare 386 when the Access is being
- run with NetWare 386.
-
- The LOGIN.EXE supplied with the Access Server should be used
- in place of the LOGIN.EXE from versions of NetWare prior to
- v2.15c.
