  6. PROBLEM:       A customer called with a problem installing Advanced 286
  7.                v2.15c.  The file server would hang when it got to the file
  8.                DSKSCTS.DAT in NETGEN.  He was using a Conner 200MB drive
  9.                which is an IDE drive. 
  10.  
  11. SOLUTION:      Normally the solution is to run NETGEN, choose the ISADISK
  12.                driver, format and COMPSURF the drive.  However, you should
  13.                not low-level format an IDE drive with COMPSURF if it
  14.                doesn't have an Embedded Servo.  This particular drive does
  15.                have the Embedded Servo.  But there are some IDE drives that
  16.                don't and they should not be formatted with COMPSURF.
