  6. PROBLEM:       We have had reported problems with the NetWare 386 v3.1
  7.                upgrade pretending to copy the SYSTEM and PUBLIC files but
  8.                not actually copying them.  
  9.   
  10. SOLUTION:      One solution seems to be related to an incompatibility in
  11.                the machine (a Mitsubishi MP386-16).  The copy takes place
  12.                in real mode, but the actual transfer of files is in
  13.                protected mode.  At this point the Mitsubishi machine could
  14.                not handle a real/protected copy.  The current Unisys 386
  15.                machine also has the Mitsubishi mother board.

  17.                Another solution was reported by a customer.  He flagged the
  18.                SYSTEM and PUBLIC directories as Shareable Read-Write and
  19.                reinstalled the SYSTEM and PUBLIC files, which corrected the
  20.                problem.
