  6. GENERAL 
  7. INFORMATION:   The NetWare Link/X.25 product is a multipoint router for
  8.                NetWare v2.1 and above.  It runs in a nondedicated bridge.
  9.                It replaced the Novell X.25 Multipoint Bridge. 
  10.   
  11. PROBLEM:       Many X.25 customers (including Novell UK) have their line
  12.                configured for 3 kinds of Virtual Circuit (VC) - Incoming
  13.                Only, Outgoing Only, and Two Way.  With the old X.25
  14.                software it was possible to configure the starting logical
  15.                channels for each of these VC types.  However, with the Link
  16.                software only the starting logical channel for all types is
  17.                configurable.

  19.                Now, this is fine if all channels are two way; however, when
  20.                we mix them (for example, we want to guarantee a free
  21.                channel for incoming calls, so our channel 4 is incoming
  22.                only) we find that an incoming call comes in on an outgoing
  23.                channel.  It is then rejected.

  25.                Since the old software was configurable, it worked fine.

  27. SOLUTION:      Reconfigure the line for all two way VCs, or use the old
  28.                software.
