  6. GENERAL 
  7. INFORMATION:   A strange error was occurring on a NetWare 286 v2.15
  8.                nondedicated server.  The file server/workstation worked
  9.                fine by itself, but when any of the seven workstations
  10.                executed NET3, the monitor screen blanked out.  The
  11.                workstations all logged in and the network ran fine, but 
  12.                the server monitor remained blank.  The machine had to be
  13.                rebooted to get it back.  We tried three different monitors,
  14.                four different brands of monitor cards, a different file
  15.                server, and an upgrade to the BIOS later.  Finally we
  16.                changed the Aquila Ethernet to an NE1000 and the problem
  17.                went away.
