- PROBLEM: If you want to backup from one server and restore to another
- server using NBACKUP, it works. When you do the restore in
- NBACKUP, it does not ask you where you want to restore the
- data until you actually start the restore session. It then
- comes back and says that this volume does not exist, where
- do you want to restore this information to? The problem is
- that it does this every time it hits a new subdirectory.
- You then have to specify the directory path to tell NBACKUP
- where to restore the next subdirectory. If you specify the
- wrong directory path, the whole restore is aborted and you
- have to start all over.
-
- SOLUTION: There is no other way to restore to a different server.
- This problem has been reported to engineering.
