  7. What is a BBS?
  8.     A BBS is a software operating system ran on our computer that allows your
  9. to access us through your computer through normal telephone lines. Some of the
  10. main things available to you are:
  11.     1. Access and download 10,000 IBM. PC-DOS, MS-DOS compatible programs
  12.        and files of almost every subject (games, databases, spreadsheets,
  13.        program language compilers, ect.).
  14.     2. Access our message base to leave messages to people, read about current
  15.        events, post ads to sell merchandise, many other uses.
  16.     3. Access our Programmer's Conference to learn, read or help other people
  17.        with a problem with programming languages.
  18.     4. Play games on-line without even having to download them.
  19. What does it cost?
  20.             The Eagles Nest is divided into 2 separate systems, SOUTH & WEST.
  21.               THE EAGLES NEST SOUTH - has free message bases and Programmer's
  22.     Conference. It doesn't cost you anything to access these, they are provided
  23.     free of charge to anyone who wishes to access them. To access the files
  24.     available for download subscription is $30.00 per year which will provide
  25.     you with 60 minutes per day for 1 year. Time limits can be increased by
  26.     uploading to us programs that we do not already have.
  27.               THE EAGLES NEST WEST - is provided free to you of any cost
  28.     what-so-ever.  This is provided as a service to the community from us. On
  29.     the WEST system we have around 800 programs available for download, plus all
  30.     of the 'DOOR' games and a message base. Why should you join us instead of
  31.     one of the other BBS's?
  32.               There are certainly some other nice BBS's in the Wichita area.
  33.     Some are free, some require payment. We are constantly improving our system
  34.     making it better and faster to accommodate our users and adding to the file
  35.     base programs of every description. We have 'the' best file selection of
  36.     anyone within the Wichita area.
