  3. file name            When prompted, enter the name of a file you want to send to
  4.                 your device.   sPORTt supports the usual DOS file naming conven-
  5.                 tions including drive letter and path names.

  7. hardware             If  your  external device is slower than your computer, you
  8. handshaking     will need to do handshaking.   Examples where handshaking is re-
  9.                 quired include sending a file to a printer or a plotter.   Check
  10.                 your  device's  manual to determine which line (CTS, DSR, or CD)
  11.                 is used for hardware handshaking.   You'll need to set the hand-
  12.                 shaking line  before  entering  the name of the file you want to
  13.                 send.   So press <ESC>.  Now press <F9> until the asterisk marks
  14.                 the correct handshaking line.
