- Here are a couple of mouse menus for the two most used versions of
- Quicken, by Intuit. There are a couple of suttle differences between the two
- versions, most notably a calculator in Quicken3. The menu line is somewhat
- changed between versions.
-
- The "OPTIONS" selection will allow the use of the "+" and "-" keys to
- increase and/or decrease the date and check number. The calculator is selected
- from the "ACTIVITY" (F6) selection.
-
- While not a professional programmer, I enjoy tinkering with mouse menus,
- and am delighted with the performance of the mouse with this package. There
- always room for improvement, so go ahead and experiment on your own. Open the
- mouse manual and tinker to your hearts content.
-
- I have posted a couple of menus on local area BBS's to accomplish the
- functionability of the mouse with such programs as WordPerfect and Telix and
- am constantly looking for ways to improve performance in other programs with
- mouse menus. None of this work is copyrighted, but a note of appreciation or
- coment would be nice.
-
- A parting comment. If the compiled version of this (Logitech) menu won't
- work (the file with the *.mnu designation), compile it with your compiler (the
- file with the *.def designation). These were compiled with version 4.0 and
- I'm not sure if it is downwardly compatable. I also renamed the Q.EXE file in
- my version of Quicken (QKN.EXE in version 2, and QKN3.EXE in version 3) as I
- was getting some extemporaneous errors with quicken (Q.MNU not found). The
- renaming of the *.EXE solved all.
-
- Enjoy!
