- This is a simple mouse menu for LIST version 7.0a, the big
- version with the file picker. There are three menus that
- popup at appropriate times:
-
- 1) The main menu, when you are reading a file, will pop
- up with a middle button click, as will all menus.
-
- 2) The file picker menu, when LIST is started up with
- no or multiple file specs, and the directory picker screen
- is accessed.
-
- 3) The sort menu, which will pop up when SORT is chosen
- from the file picker menu. Note that the size sort will
- reverse itself (small to large, then large to small) when
- chosen successively.
-
- The Left/Right chord ("fork up") will execute a PgUp, and the
- All Buttons chord ("all down") will execute a PgDn in both
- the file list and file pick modes.
-
- The Left/Middle chord will go to the next file (when more
- than one have been chosen, either via wildcards at the
- command line or picking additional files within the
- program), and similarly, the Right/Middle chord will go to
- the previous file, WHEN IN FILE LIST MODE! In File Pick
- mode, the Left/Middle chord will execute Y for yes, and the
- Right/Middle chord will execute N for no. This is useful in
- the mini-file manager functions.
-
- Left button is always ENTER, and Right button is always
- ESCAPE. The Right button will thus exit to the file pick
- mode if LIST is started up with no file specs or with
- wildcard specs, or if additional files have been chosen
- during the LIST session. Otherwise, from the file pick
- mode, and from the file view mode if only a single file has
- been chosen from the command line and no others added during
- the session, the Right button will exit the program.
-
- Note that there is a listc.def and .mnu - these are for
- color use. Rename them and go! For how to get a Logimouse
- MNU file working, consult your mouse manual. A simple way
- to try it out is to load your mouse driver if it is not
- already loaded, and type MENU LIST. Then, bring LIST up
- with no command line parameters (no file specs) and try it
- out! Happy mousing!
