- Subject: Practical Peripherals 1200 Internal Modem

- There are several releases of the 1200 baud internal modem
- manufactured by Practical Peripherals. It is important to
- note that the dip switch settings changed for each version
- of this modem. Below is a list of the switch settings for
- each of the versions and how they should be set to work with
- SmartWareII.

- In addition, for SmartWareII version 1.02 and below, the
- modem definition for this modem is incorrect. Using the
- Set-terminal Modem Define command the following changes must
- be made in order for the modem to initialize:

- 1.) In the Wakeup Sequence #1, N=16 should be removed.
- 2.) In the Wakeup Sequence #2, the Result line should
- be altered to read "AT V0E0"13"0"13.
