  1. The following are my setting for the ROM 1140 version of the 
  2. US Robotics HST modem.
  3.  
  4. I am opening my comm port at 19200 but my baud rate in my
  5. dialing directory is 38400 (see below).   I have experienced
  6. uploads in excess of 19.2KB (text files).  Downloads scream
  7. along at around 1500 cps for compressed files.
