- WHAT'S NEW:
-
- Version 1.30
-
- Outlines are documented and are for unregistered users.
-
- Auto Adjust "-AA" is a new option for use with the white on black "-W" option.
- It makes white on black much easier to use. "-AA" automatically increases
- the cell height for a font. This adds black space above and below a font to
- fill in white space that would otherwise appear between lines.
-
- Registered users now receive 3D and floating shadows. These can be combined
- with weights and outlines to produce many fine effects. Two examples are now
- in the title page of the documentation.
-
- Registered users also receive an expanded set of weight effects. Over twenty
- in all. Also provided are outlines of any desired thickness.
-
- Version 1.20
-
- A reversed, White on black option has been added. For registered users,
- an outline option has been added to the previous weight option.
-
- One bug has been fixed: passing file names on the command line with a ":" or
- "-: in the name.
-
- The documentation has been expanded to give a brief overview about using soft
- fonts.
-
- The Sprint file that creates the documentation in now included.
-
- Version 1.10
-
- Response files have been added. A response file is an ascii text file of
- command lines. This allows multiple fonts to be loaded at once.
-
- Two new font effects have been added. Fonts may be mirrored or turned upside
- down or both.
-
- New parameter passing style with greater compatibility.
-
- Two new options: "-C" clears printer with a reset (Esc E). "-D" deletes all
- soft fonts from the printers memory.
-
- Printer error checking has been improved.
-
- Previously there was a problem if a font was rotated to make an upside down
- font. This has been fixed.
-
- Also scaling has been improved. The improvements aren't actually in the
- scaling but in the placement of the character. Fonts line up better.
