- Prom8 is a EPROM / Microcomputer programmer system. The program is fairly self
- explanatory. The circuit may be built using standard TTL / CMOS parts. However,
- there is a transformer that I wound from a who-knows-what core to get the voltage
- needed to burn some of the parts. I have been using this system for some time
- now with no problems. I used the 'AS11' assembler to create assembler code
- for the MC6801 microcontroller. If you would like to try to build this circuit
- it will cost you approximately $50.00 in parts. I don't recommend it for a
- first time project for your IBM. The board is plugged directly into a card slot
- on your PC,XT, or AT. I made an extension cable to burn the devices remotely.
- All programs and the schematics are available for $20.00. Please make checks
