  2.                       Repair and Warranty Information

  4.  -   Your first contact for repair/warranty information is your dealer.
  5.  
  6.  -   Repairs of Seagate products are handled through our dealers and
  7.      distributors.  Please contact your dealer for further information
  8.      on warranty or assistance with return of product for repair.
  9.  
  10.  -   If the Seagate product you own was purchased as part of a system,
  11.      your first contact for support is the system manufacturer or the
  12.      company that put the system together.
  13.  
  14.  -   If you have been unsuccessful contacting your dealer or are a
  15.      direct Seagate customer, you may call the Seagate Repair Center
  16.      direct at (800) 669-5522.  They can help you determine warranty
  17.      status, quote repair costs, make shipping recommendations, and
  18.      give out RMA numbers.  They are not, however, set up to answer any
  19.      questions which are technical in nature.

  21.  -   Seagate does not sell spare parts nor can we send schematics.
  22.      Installation Guides and Product Manuals can be obtained through
  23.      your dealer or by contacting Seagate direct.  Please also consult
  24.      other sections of this Bulletin Board for product specifications
  25.      and installation / troubleshooting assistance.

  27.  -   If you can't determine if the operation of your Seagate Product is
  28.      correct or have other questions about the use of the product,
  29.      please contact the Seagate Telephone Technical Support group at
  30.      (800) 468-3472.  Please be patient when calling the 800 telephone
  31.      technical support number as the lines are intermittently very
  32.      busy.

  35.      brief description of your installation and question for the
  36.      SysOp for a call back from a technician.  Leave a message by
  37.      choosing the [C]omment option at the Bulletin Board Main Menu.
