-
- Greetings! Thank you for trying out LOOKER 1.10. LOOKER is
- a swift diskspace usage viewer. It can only be used on a
- computer equipped with an Enhanced Graphics Adapter (EGA) or
- its equivalent, therefore the representation of the disk is
- presented in a high quality manner. LOOKER is very simple to
- use, and running it from a hard drive or a floppy disk are
- both suitable.
-

-
- Command: LOOKER [drive]
-
- At the DOS prompt, type LOOKER ─┘ to view the current
- drive. If a parameter is also given, (such as A: B: etc.)
- then the specified drive is viewed.
-
- When LOOKER is ran, a pie chart showing the disk usage is
- displayed on the upper-left corner of the screen. A bar
- graph displaying the similar information is displayed on the
- upper-right corner. (There are five spaces in the bar graph,
- each representing 20% of the disk space.) The information is
- displayed in words on the bottom half of the screen.
- Pressing any key will stop the operation of LOOKER and the
- DOS prompt appears. It is suggested that LOOKER is placed
- into a directory defined in the DOS PATH, therefore it can
- be ran anytime in any directory.
-
- Bonus: LOOKER also displays the information about the
- maximum memory block available.

-
- System Information
-
- Starting with LOOKER 1.10, the system information function
- is added. When LOOKER is ran, the normal pie chart will be
- displayed. If you press "I" in that screen (either upper
- or lower case), you will be ported to the System Information
- screen, where informations about your machine are displayed.
