  8.           No real errors were located to cause this release of Scanner
  9.           Buff!  The only real difference is the size of the .EXE file.
  10.           Its size has decreased by over 50% !!!  This free's much more
  11.           disk space for those of you using floppy systems to store data.
  12.  
  13.           Scanner Buff! is no longer released with SCAN.MDF and its index
  14.           files.  Rather, the files are created the first time you start
  15.           the program.  No data is contained in this file, however, data
  16.           may be imported from any Scanner Buff! data file created by
  17.           version 2.0 or above.

  19.           Data files created by the users of this program are encouraged.
  20.           In this manner many more people from any state can enjoy the
  21.           wealth of information available.  I will continue researching
  22.           data and releasing data files on various systems and counties in
  23.           the state of California.  Each time Scanner Buff! is released I
  24.           also release current data files on the same BBS, so they are
  25.           available.

  27.           Important to note is the fact that Scanner Buff! will be released
  28.           commercially very soon now.  You may reserve an advance copy by
  29.           registering your Shareware copy at the Shareware price. The
  30.           commercial price will be higher in order to pay the cost of
  31.           printing, etc.

  33.           Thank you for making Scanner Buff! the number one program of its
  34.           type ( not rated by me :-> ) !!!  I will continue striving to
  35.           produce only a quality program with as few errors as possible...
  36.           I spend a great deal of time on error-trapping, thus increasing
  37.           the size of the program, but protecting your data.

  40.           QUICK START INSTRUCTIONS:  Install all files in a sub-directory
  41.           and type:

  43.           SCAN32  or  SCAN32 [/C] [/M]
  44.  
  45.           The program will start and SCAN.MDF will be created automatically.
  46.           If you would like to use a previous data file called SCAN.MDF either
  47.           import the data into the new data file (the other copy of SCAN.MDF
  48.           must reside in another directory, or it will be over-written) from the
  49.           search menu, or exit the program, erase the new file and its indices,
  50.           then copy the old files into the sub-directory.

  57.           If you are updating from version 3.2 or later you need only extract
  58.           SCAN32.EXE into your directory containing all other files
