- BC100
- This file shows one way to set up a Bearcat 100 XLT for
- the Hamilton County Area. Due to the general set-up of it,
- it gives priority to the west side of the county. To change
- this if you live in the county, simply swap HCCC West for the
- HCCC of your area. If you live in the city, swap the second
- bank (Channels 11-20) with the first bank, putting your area
- of the city in channel one.

- BC200
- This file shows one way to set up a Bearcat 200 XLT for
- the Hamilton County Area. This one works better for
- traveling throughout the County. The first bank has all the
- county frequencies in it giving priority to the west. When
- you want to listen to a different HCCC area you can simply
- lockout the west channel and un-lockout the other HCCC area
- (of course you could have all three open, but this would be
- quite hard to follow). The above should also be used when
- listening to the city channels (only open one of the three
- dispatch channels at a time).
- I don't know that you will ever hear anything on bank 8,
- but if we would have a civil emergency you might. When Bush
- came to town a few of these frequencies blurped a little.
- Note that this listing is not fully developed so you
- have well over 20 channels to play around with.
-
- For the above two files the number inside the
- parenthesis is the number the police refer to that channel
- as.
-
- CODES
- This file gives the Hamilton County Signals & Codes that
- are heard on the city and county channels. It also gives the
- first two digits of the county police and fire four digit
- call. (i.e.- 9R__ 9R is Green Township, the __ is the car
- number.) For the city the cars have a three or four digit
- call numbers the first number is the district the last two
- are the car number. Sometimes there is a D or Z in the
- middle of a city unit's call this is probably a certain type
- of unit.
- The Hamilton County set of phonetics is used by the
- county and city. The international set is used by the
- Airports, hams, and most of the US.
