  10.         This disk  contains all the files needed for setting up Lotus 123
  11.         with 132 columns. The files are:
  12.  
  13.              o  LOTUS23B.DRV -   132x25 - Device Driver for Color mode
  14.              o  LOTUS33B.DRV -   132x44 - Device Driver for Color mode
  15.              o  LOTUS37B.DRV -   132x44 - Device  Driver  for Monochrome
  16.                                  mode
  17.              o  LOTUSDRV.EXE -   Driver installation program. This program
  18.                                  is  started by  the main program
  19.                                  VDRIVER.EXE.
  20.              o  README.LOT -     This file.
  21.  
  22.         These   drivers  are  compatible  with Lotus 1-2-3  version  2.0,
  23.         2.01  &  2.2  and Symphony version l.l.  They   allow  132-column
  24.         spreadsheets   on  TTL  Monochrome,  EGA  and   multi-synchronous
  25.         monitors.

  27.         The setup procedure is as follows:

  29.         A. SYSTEM WITH HARD DISK:
  30.  
  31.            1. Install Lotus 1-2-3 as described in the Lotus manual.
  32.  
  33.            2. Do  not  delete SINGLE.LBR if you have a version  of  1-2-3
  34.               higher than 2.0 or a  version of  Symphony higher than 1.1.
  35.               Otherwise, delete  SINGLE.LBR from  your Lotus directory.
  36.               For example:  del single.lbr <enter>.
  37.  
  38.            3. Run the VDRIVER program in Disk #1 and follow
  39.               the instructions given by the program.
  40.  
  41.            4. Select ADVANCED OPTIONS.  Lotus presents a list of choices.
  42.  
  43.            5. Choose ADD NEW DRIVER TO LIBRARY.  Lotus returns you to the
  44.               Advanced Options menu.
  45.  
  46.            6. Continue with section C - Configuring Lotus 1-2-3.

  48.         B. SYSTEM WITH TWO FLOPPY DISKS ONLY
  49.  
  50.            1. Copy the drivers from Disk #1 to the new formatted disk.
  51.               For example:

  53.                     A>COPY B:\LOTUS\*.DRV
  54.  
  55.               where drive A contains the new formatted disk.
  56.  
  57.            2. For Lotus 1-2-3 version 2.01, rename the file SINGLE.LBR in
  58.               the Install Library disk to SINGLE.BAK.

  63.            3. Place the Utility disk in drive A and type INSTALL <enter>.

  65.            4. Place the Install Library disk in drive A and press <enter>.
  66.  
  67.            5. Place the System disk in drive A and press <enter>.

  69.            6. Select ADVANCED OPTIONS. Lotus presents a list of choices.
  70.  
  71.            7. Select ADD NEW DRIVERS TO LIBRARY.

  73.            8. Insert  the  new disk obtained in step (1) in drive  A  and
  74.               press <enter>.
  75.  
  76.            9. - For Lotus 1-2-3 version 2.01, insert the Install  Library
  77.                 disk in drive A and press <enter>.
  78.               - For  Lotus 1-2-3 version 2.0, insert the Utility disk  in
  79.                 drive A and press <enter>.

  81.           10. Continue with section C - Configuring Lotus 1-2-3.

  83.         C. CONFIGURING LOTUS 1-2-3
  84.  
  85.            1. Select  MODIFY  CURRENT DRIVER  SET. Install displays a list  of
  86.               driver types.
  87.  
  88.            2. Select TEXT DISPLAY. Install displays a list of text drivers.
  89.  
  90.            3. Select one of the following drivers:
  91.  
  92.                     - LOTUS23B.DRV 132X25 Color Mode Driver
  93.                     - LOTUS33B.DRV 132x44 Color Mode Driver
  94.                     - LOTUS37B.DRV 132x44 Mono Mode Driver
  95.  
  96.            4. Select  GRAPH DISPLAY. Install displays a list  of  graphic
  97.               drivers.
  98.  
  99.            5. Select one of the following graphics drivers:
  100.  
  101.                     - Hercules (80x25) only if 132x44 mono driver is
  102.                       chosen in step 3.
  103.                     - IBM Enhanced Graphics
  104.                     - IBM Video Graphics Array
  105.  
  106.            6. Select  RETURN TO MENU. Install returns to the Advanced  Options
  107.               menu.
  108.  
  109.            7. Select SAVE CHANGES and follow the instruction given on the
  110.               screen
  111.  
  112.            8. Exit from Lotus Install program.
