- FUNCTION: Displays information stored on disks, recovers data from erased
- files, and allows changes to be made to disk data.

- FORMAT: NU [d:] [options]

- TYPE: Norton Utilities command

- REMARKS: d: specifies a drive to NU, which if omitted, is the default drive.
- It may be changed from within NU.
- The options for NU are:

- /D0 specifies the screen driver that writes directly to the screen.
- /D1 specifies a slower screen driver that uses IBM BIOS services.
- /D2 specifies the slowest method that uses the ANSI.SYS driver.
- /Fn sets the foreground color to n, where n is 0 to 15.
- /Bn sets the background color to n, where n is 0 to 15.
- /NOC suppresses the use of color on color display adapters.
- /P causes only printable characters to be displayed.
- /EUR specifies the European character set option.
- /EBCDIC allows IBM mainframe coded data to be displayed.
- /TV sets certain options to allow NU to work from within TopView.

- NU is entirely menu-driven and is essentially self-explanatory. Most
- of the options can be changed from within NU as follows:

- Alt-F1 toggles the no-color option.
- Alt-F2 toggles the non-printable character option.
- Alt-F3 controls the foreground color.
- Alt-F4 controls the background color.
- Alt-F5 toggles the EBCDIC display mode.
- Alt-F6 toggles the European character set option.
