  1. COMMAND:  RESTORE (Restore Hard Disk)

  3. FUNCTION: Restores one or more files from diskettes to a fixed disk.
  4.  
  5. FORMAT:   RESTORE d: [d:][path][filename[.ext]] [/S][/P]
  6.  
  7. TYPE:     DOS external command
  8.  
  9. REMARKS:  /S causes backed up files in all sub-directories to be restored
  10.           in addition to the files in the specified directory itself.
  11.           /P causes you to be prompted before files are restored that have
  12.           changed since they were last backed up, or that are read-only files.
  13.           The files being restored must have been written to the diskettes
  14.           using the BACKUP command. The first parameter is the backup
  15.           diskette drive. The second parameter is the fixed disk files you
  16.           want restored. Global file name characters are allowed. You are
  17.           prompted for entry of the next diskette if the specified file is not
  18.           found or if all matching files have been restored off the current
  19.           diskette. All backup diskettes must be inserted in sequence to find
  20.           a single file. See BACKUP.
