- DOS HELP
- VERSION 1.00

-
- This program was written to provide a MS-DOS Help facility
- primarily to users of fixed disks. The user can request help by
- typing HELP any DOS prompt. After a command has been selected,
- the program displays information about the command's function,
- its syntax and other helpful remarks.
-
- Two files are required to use this help facility HELP.COM and
- HELP.DAT. HELP.DAT must be in the default root directory and
- HELP.COM must be on the current PATH. HELP requires an IBM PC or
- clone with either a monochrome or Color/Graphics card. The use
- of a hard disk will is highly recommended. The size of the files
- (nearly 70k ) make it difficult to put this program on a floppy
- disk based system with other application programs.
-
- If you use this program as a system utility, please consider the
- donation of $5.00. Good software at a good price is hard to come
- by. I support the idea of "SHAREWARE" and "FREEWARE" and hope
- all of you do as well. It is because of this means of marketing
- software that helpful programs like HELP can be made available at
- affordable prices.
-
- HELP may be shared with other people under the condition that
- there is NO CHARGE for the copy(s).
