  9.        If you intend to use {COMMO} on more than one computer at your
  10.        location (including workstations on a Local Area Network), you
  11.        will need a Multi-User Site License. 
  12.  
  13.        If you want to distribute {COMMO} in conjunction with any other
  14.        product, you will need to file an application for a Distribution
  15.        License. 
  16.  
  17.        Sample licenses and an application form are shown on the following
  18.        pages. 
  19.  
  20.        Electronic bulletin board systems (BBS's, including online
  21.        commercial services) may distribute the {COMMO} Shareware package
  22.        (all files in the original archive must be present and unaltered). 
  23.        PC user groups and computer clubs may also distribute the {COMMO}
  24.        Shareware package on diskette (no more than $5.00 distribution fee
  25.        may be charged).

  27.        Commercial distributors of Shareware and "Public Domain" diskettes
  28.        must obtain permission in writing prior to distributing the
  29.        {COMMO} Shareware package.

  45.        The {COMMO} Telecommunications Software program will be referred
  46.        to as the SOFTWARE.

  48.        LICENSOR hereby grants LICENSEE a multi-user site license to use
  49.        the SOFTWARE on [number of copies licensed] computers and/or
  50.        workstations.

  52.        This license grants perpetual use of the software at your site (or
  53.        sites) and is non-transferable.  You may copy the software only
  54.        for installation on the number of computers and/or workstations
  55.        specified in this agreement.  You may not distribute or resell the
  56.        software in any form to any third party.
  57.  
  58.        The LICENSOR warrants that it is sole owner of the software and
  59.        has full power and authority to grant this license herein without
  60.        consent of any other party.

  62.        LICENSOR hereby disclaims all warranties relating to this
  63.        software, whether express or implied, including without limitation
  64.        any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a
  65.        particular purpose. LICENSOR will not be liable for any special,
  66.        incidental, consequential, indirect or similar damages due to loss
  67.        of data or any other reason, even if LICENSOR or an agent of
  68.        LICENSOR has been advised of the possibility of such damages.  In
  69.        no event shall LICENSOR's liability for any damages ever exceed
  70.        the price paid for the license to use the software, regardless of
  71.        the form of the claim.  The person using the software bears all
  72.        risk as to the quality and performance of the software.

  74.        This agreement shall be construed and enforced in accordance with
  75.        the laws of the STATE OF CALIFORNIA.  Any action or proceeding
  76.        brought by either party against the other arising out of or
  77.        related to this agreement shall be brought only in a STATE or
  78.        FEDERAL COURT of competent jurisdiction located in Sonoma county,
  79.        California.  The parties hereby consent to in personam
  80.        jurisdiction of said courts.

  122.        individual, P.O. Box 9103, Santa Rosa, CA 95405, U.S.A., and [your
  123.        company name and address], a [your state] corporation, hereinafter
  124.        referred to as LICENSEE.  LICENSOR and LICENSEE agree as follows:

  126.        This contract allows LICENSEE to DISTRIBUTE the SOFTWARE developed
  127.        by LICENSOR with products sold by LICENSEE.  This perpetual
  128.        license of the SOFTWARE by LICENSOR is LICENSEE is NON-EXCLUSIVE
  129.        and NON-TRANSFERABLE.  LICENSEE shall pay LICENSOR a one time fee
  130.        of ____________ US dollars in exchange for said license.
