  3.  I created this program in '89 with an old version of Borland TurboPascal (3.0),
  4. so it may sometimes shows the "bugs" of old age.
  5.  It doesn't pretend to compare itself to Microsoft or Borland software, I'm not
  6. a programmer, I just do that as a hobby during my free time.
  7.  Anyways, it can be useful for all those who need minimal security on their own
  8. MS-DOS PC, to keep others from reading their texts or running "private"
  9. programs.  I tried this program hundreds of times and never had troubles.
  10. Anyways, I won't take any responsibility for any loss of data that may be
  11. caused from using it.

  13. The zipped program must contain four files:
  14.  
  15.             READ.ME  (this file)
  16.             VSCODE23.PAS (source file)
  17.             VSCODE23.COM (executable file with on-line help)
  18.             VSCODE23.000 (help overlay)
  19.

  21.             THIS PROGRAM IS SHAREWARE.

  23.  This means that you can freely give it to all your friends or upload it to a
  24. BBS, under the conditions that there won't be any charge for the downloading of
  25. it (a fee for general access to the BBS would be okay).
  26.  I would appreciate any contributions, monetary or otherwise, to improve my
  27. capacity as a programmer, even if today I don't use Pascal anymore, but "C"
  28. language (Microsoft MSC 6.0).  New versions may be released written in C.
