  3.                 NOTICE TO ALL SHAREWARE DISTRIBUTION HOUSES

  5.           If  you are a shareware distribution house and you  did  not 
  6.      directly  receive  a copy of this version of T-Ref  from  Synergy 
  7.      Software Solutions, you MUST complete the top of the registration 
  8.      form and mail it to me.  On the line "Reference", put the company 
  9.      or  person from which you received the copy you are distributing.  
  10.      You MUST do this before distributing ANY copies of T-REF.

  13.                           REGISTRATION FOR USERS

  15.           The following page contains the registration form for  T-Ref 
  16.      5.0.   You are given a 60 day trial period in which to examine T-
  17.      Ref  before  you must register.   You are expected at the end  of 
  18.      that 60 days, to either register or cease using the package.

  20.           Benefits to ALL registered users (at any level):

  22.           (1)   My complete and total support to fix any  problems  or
  23.      bugs  that you find or encounter while using the package (for the
  24.      life  of this product).   I also pledge to fix them as  early  as
  25.      time permits.  (This usually means within several weeks.)  I have
  26.      been developing,  enhancing,  and supporting registered users for
  27.      over  two  years now.   I do not foresee this ending in the  next
  28.      several years either.  Support includes a CompuServe number for

  31.           (2)   My regularly distributed newsletter,  which  describes
  32.      upcoming versions and fixes.

  34.           (3)   Upgrades  for future version are at the  minimal  cost
  35.      possible.  With the recent announcement of TP 5.5, I will provide
  36.      to  all registered users  T-Ref 5.5 FREE upon  completion (during
  37.      August 1989).  Upgrades are usually in the $15 to $20 price range
  38.      to cover documentation printing, postage and handling, etc.

  40.      Borland has just released information about their version 5.5.  I
  41.      will be modifying T-Ref to support this version.   If you want to
  42.      know of the status of this enhancement, write me and I'll let you
  43.      know.   Registering with this form will automatically entitle you
  44.      to T-Ref 5.5 as soon as it is complete (at no additional cost!)

  46.           Additional  benefits  to all registered users  of  the  com-
  47.      mercial version:

  49.           (1)   Sub-Version  updates  to all registered users  of  the
  50.      commercial version AT NO COST.  That's right!  Whenever I release
  51.      a  sub-version  which  provides fixes to the  existing  bugs  and
  52.      problems in the system,  I mail out these sub-versions at no cost
  53.      to the registered users of the commercial version.

  55.           (2)  Often, I get letters from registered users who say they
  56.      like T-Ref so much, they plan to tell others about it.  I believe
  57.      this  is  the best form of advertisement I could have,  and I  am
  58.      willing  to pay for it.   I will give you a commission of $5  for
  59.      every  commercial  registration of T-Ref you are able to  obtain.
  60.      Simply  have  the person/company put YOUR name  and  registration
  61.      number in the "Reference" line on the registration form.   I will
  62.      promptly mail you a check for $5.
