  1. See STATIC.TXT for information about how to use the files.  To
  2. compile the programs, use the commands:

  4. tpc /b windinst
  5. tpc /b windtest
  6.  
  7. The .TPU and .EXE files were compiled with Turbo Pascal 5.5.  If you
  8. are using an earlier compiler version, you MUST recompile the units.

  10. Execute windtest to run the test program.  Press any key to quit. 
  11. Next, run the test installation program windinst.  Change various
  12. window colors and the title string.  Then, run windtest again to see
  13. the effects of your changes.  Because I wrote these examples for
  14. publication in a magazine, they are rather terse--for example, you
  15. have to enter colors by number.  But, they demonstrate all you need
  16. to know to write your own installers with TCUNIT.  I'd appreciate
  17. your comments.
