  1. The SPX Library    Copyright 1993 Scott D. Ramsay

  3.   The (shareware) SPX library allows Turbo Pascal 6.0 and 7.0 programmers to
  4. EASILY write games in the native 320x200x256 VGA mode.  It includes all the
  5. routines needed for a game.  Animation, Sound, text and various input devices.
  6. Advanced graphic techniques.  Such as Parallax scrolling,  tile map scrolling,
  7. displaying sprites on layers and 3D perspective drawing.
  8.   Advanced features such as direct screen writes.  Automatic implementation
  9. of 386 specific code for 386 and later processors.  Complete control of the
  10. keyboard to allow of simultaneous multiple key presses.  Direct access
  11. to sound devices.  Eight real time clocks for acurate timing regardless of
  12. computer speed (four are acurate 18.2sec resolutions, the other four are
  13. adjustable for even faster resolutions).

  15.   The library also includes full GUI programs to help you create your game.  
  16. Such as the Sprite maker, PCX2VSP converter, Tile map maker, Font editor, and
  17. even a POCO program to convert CEL2VSP for Animator PRO users.

  19.   Seven examples with source is included to show certain features of the 
  20. library.  Also to help you on your way.  Three full games are included 
  21. (source code of games for registered users) to see the how gaming concepts 
  22. are done.
