  1. Borland is pleased to announce that Paradox Engine 3.01 is now
  2. shipping.  This version is a standard maintainence release designed to
  3. address any difficulties or problems reported to us by our customers.
  4. Borland is commited to providing the highest quality development

  7. Some of the issues addressed in this version include:

  9. We have improved Engine performance.
  10. Database Framework can now be used from within a DLL.
  11. Memory issues with PxSrchFld and PXKeyAdd have been addressed.
  12. BLOb support for PXRecBufCopy has been addressed.
  13. PXSrchFld problem has been corrected.
  14. Conditions leading to a false "Internal Error 248" corrected.
  15. PXTblEmpty now handles tables with multiple, compond secondary indexes
  16. correctly.

  18. To update the PXEngine 3.0's Pascal units and DLL, replace the corresponding
  19. files with the files found in the PCE3M.zip file.
