  3. DOS operating system.  DOS labels are fairly easy to create but quite
  4. difficult to delete or change, because to do so requires the use of
  5. XFCBs rather than file handles, and the process requires deliberate
  6. corruption of the XFCB.  The author explains what labels are for and
  7. how to manipulate them in this necessary but nonintuitive fashion,
  8. and provides a utility, VOLUME.C that creates and modifies volume
  9. labels in the approved DOS fashion.
