  8.   Notes: Forward slashes may be used instead of backslashes.
  9.   If a directory is designated, using forward slashes (/), that
  10.   matches an attribute skipper, use double slashes like in //a or //s
  11.   Options are toggles: set in environment WDIR and commandline will toggle.
