- HELP:

- To make a selection from the right window, move the
- highlighting bar up/down by pressing the up/down arrow keys.
- When the function you want is highlighted, press ENTER.

- To Make a selection from the left window, Press the
- appropriate function key associated with that key.
-
- F1: HELP - To view this help file, press function key 1
- (F1). Press ESC (the Escape key) to exit from viewing this
- help file.

- F2: PRINTER SETUP - Allows you to configure the program for
- your printer, if it is different than IBM or Epson. Before
- using this function, make sure you have a manual for your
- printer. You will have to look up certain control codes in
- the manual. For example, CHR$(29) is the compressed print
- control code for the Okidata. If you had an Okidata, you
- would enter 29 when asked for the compress code.

- F3: COLORS - If you don't like the default colors, they can
- be changed with this command.

- ESC - Press the ESC (Escape Key) to exit the program. You
- don't have to worry about saving any changes you made to the
- data. The program will do that for you.

- EDIT RECORD - Will allow you to look up a record by the key.
- You can actually change an entry in the record. Press
- ENTER or down arrow to skip by a field.

- The EDIT menu has some extra commands:
-
- D - Delete. This will delete a record. Actually, it will fill
- the record with blanks so it can be re-used.

- F - Find. Searches the database by record number this is
- the fastest way to find a record.

- + Move forward one record. Displays the next record in
- the database.
-
- - Move back one record. Displays the previous record.
-
- C - Change. Use this command to change a record name, or
- related information.

- P - Print. Sends the record to the printer.
-
- ESC - Pressing the Escape key will exit the edit menu.

- REPORT - Get a printed report.

- A data input screen will be displayed. Press ENTER for the
- fields if you want to print the whold database. For instance,
- you could type CA for a State field and get all the data from
- California, and skip the rest.
