  5.      you have on board.  However, torps are fired at the rate of 1 per
  6.      starminute, (unless improved by exploring), not all simultaneously.
  7.      if the resultant velocity of a torpedo (vector sub of torp veloctiy
  8.      and ship's velocity) is warp 1 or higher, the torp "dissappears"
  9.      into hyperspace.
