- The files in this archive (except this one) are in unix text format (only LF
- separates lines, instead of msdos CR-LF). The following is the "readme" file
- in msdos text format for your convenience:

- Hi
-
- This package contains troff sources corresponding to the NG files in the
- Nanforum Toolkit v 2.0 library. You can print these by running troff on
- most any unix system (each installation has its own flavor of troff). Do not
- use a macro package, these files are "raw" troff sources. Example:
-
- ptroff -P apple-lw xxx.tr
-
- They work reasonably well for nroff also if you dont have a troff device
- at your site.
-
- These files were generated using a program which decodes .ng files, and
- translates it into troff. Sometimes the translation isn't perfect, especially
- with tables, and non-ascii characters, but it is 99% OK. Beats not having
- any hardcopy.
-
- The 18 files (1-18).tr correspond to the 18 .ngo files that make up the
- documentation, I'll call these chapters.
-
- The file merged.tr is just the topics of each chapter. All 18 chapters are
- summarized in this file, one page per chapter. This is like a table of
- contents.
-
- The file xrefs.tr is a sorted list of all the functions, referencing which
- chapter contains it. This is like an index.
-
- All the files in this zoo are in unix text format (ie, only control-J at
- ends of lines). To translate these into msdos format, add a control-M before
- every control-J (I think there may be PD programs that do this trivial
- thing). Why unix text format?... because I suspect most people will be running
- unix "troff" and "nroff" on these files. Of course there may be some PC
- implementations of troff and nroff, I dont know of any.
-
- THE FILES CONTAINED IN THIS ARCHIVE ARE DERIVED FROM THE DOCUMENTATION
- IN THE NANFORUM TOOLKIT VERSION 2.0 WHICH IS IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN. THIS
- ARCHIVE AND ALL FILES WITHIN THIS ARCHIVE MAY BE FREELY DISTRIBUTED AND USED
- SUBJECT TO THE TERMS IN THE NANFOR.LIB PUBLIC DOMAIN STATEMENT. A COPY
- OF THAT STATEMENT IS IN THE TROFF FILE 15.TR.
-
- If you manage to print these, please drop me a line giving details on
- your system. This would help me design future stuff. Do not send
- money, dont sue me, and dont expect support.
-
- Good luck.
