  3. The 'lint'  libraries decriptions.

  6. Those files are a short hand source decription of the  libraries  functions
  7. in  the  same spirit of llib-lc.  Since the functions have no body and only
  8. describe arguments and returned values, option -v  must  be  used  to  lint
  9. programs using those :

  11. $ lint myprog.c -v llib-xxx
  12.

  15. $ cc myprog.c xxx.a
  16.  
  17. Users should put in their .profile or .login  files  shell  variables  that
  18. expand  to  the lengthy path names (this could be fixed if we had access to
  19. the UNIX system files).
