  1. This version of ACE has a slight problem with the initial screen.
  2. The screen should prompt you for a file name, but any old garbage
  3. may appear...so either type enter, or a file name followed by 
  4. enter.  Hit escape after that to see a command line.  It worked
  5. for me, so it should work for you.
