  1.         Notes on the IBM PC Version of FOLDED 0.9b

  3. The PC version of FOLDED has only seen limited testing (i.e. minor use
  4. during the port itself). There are a number of things I have to look at
  5. before optimizing up the screen updating, but I expect to get to that
  6. before the 1.0 release (later in 1989). I used the Turbo C compilers'
  7. compact model and the binary distribution contains stack checking code
  8. since I couldn't get a good feel for how close I was to overrunning
  9. the stack. I did bump it up to 8K, but that may not be enough for the
  10. PC.

  12. Users of the PC version must have ANSI.SYS (or NANSI.SYS) configured into
  13. their system. I will look into making this an option in a future version.
