  3. There have been MANY questions left for me on how to connect to this system
  4. via uucp to request files. Actually, the procedure is very simple. Just
  5. login as nuucp with no password. All of the directories used by this bbs
  6. have read privileges; therefore, you can request and receive any file or
  7. files that are available for downloading. You must remember the full
  8. path names of the files. Any file that is in the bbssoftware directory
  9. has the path name of /user/bbsfiles/bbssoftware/. Likewise, the unix
  10. directory has the path name of /user/bbsfiles/unix/. This is also true
  11. for each and every file directory on the system. You can get the directory
  12. name from the A(rea change) command while in the file section. You will
  13. recognize the name by the first field displayed on each and every line.
  14. Just add /user/bbsfiles/ to whatever is displayed.

  16. As an example, if you want the file, ALLbbs.tar.Z, the full pathname is
  17. /user/bbsfiles/bbssoftware/ALLbbs.tar.Z.

  20. to use, please send it to /usr/spool/uucppublic.
