  1. Finding a Distributor

  3. This is the first step in getting your software onto the store
  4. shelves and into the hands of re-sellers.  A distributor is the
  5. middle man that coordinates getting your software to the stores. 
  6. Most national chains will not deal with a software package unless
  7. it is handled by a distributor.

  9. The registered version of ~The Software Marketer~ comes with a
  10. Distributor database containing over 700 distributor's (Software
  11. Plus, Software Resources, etc.) addresses and telephone numbers.
  12. With ~The Software Marketer~ you can merge a form letter with the
  13. database and create a custom mail out to attract a distributor to
  14. your software product.

  17. distributors are always looking for software packages that they can
  18. package with their hardware to make it more appealing.
